NLGI 24th Lubricating Grease Conference

The India Chapter of the National Lubricating Grease Institute (NLGI) held the 24th Lubricating Grease Conference from the 26th to the 28th of August at the Novotel Hotel in Visakhapatnam, India. Kemipex had an active presence in the event through the official LUBIMAX® distributor in India, Chemiprime Impex Pvt. Ltd., who exhibited at the event showcasing the broad range of LUBIMAX® products and was also a Silver Sponsor of the conference.
The three-day conference has been designed to distinctly identify the current and future trends in the Grease Industry. This conference has become a focal point for grease-related industry personnel and users to promote their business interests in this part of the world. The India Chapter of NLGI was formed in 1997 and has since been active. It renders services to the Indian grease industry by conducting educational courses on various grease-related subjects relevant to consumers/ manufacturers, organizing round-robin tests on various test methods, conducting grease conferences, and publishing the quarterly journal “Greasetech India”.
The official LUBIMAX® representative in the Middle East, Africa & Europe, Kemipex, conducted two presentations at the conference. One was held by the Kemipex Head of Innovation who delivered a Technical Session on the Evaluation of EP Components for Gear Oil Packages. He delivered an in-depth and detailed presentation and wrote a thorough technical paper.
The Kemipex Global Business Development Manager also delivered a business talk on LUBIMAX® to provide further information on the various types of products available such as additive packages, components, base fluids, grease components and much more.
The conference was a resounding success, as the LUBIMAX® stand saw hundreds of visitors who were able to meet our LUBIMAX® team of experts, and as a result, we believe we shall see many new business ventures in the near future.
